To use Student Council funds and to apply for SUA grants, student groups must be registered as an official University student group. Most of the interest groups are registered through SUA, but some of the newer or smaller groups might not be. Every group benefits from being officially recognized by the University (ability to reserve campus spaces, funding, maintained web presence, etc.).

Please contact the Student Organization Representative with questions about new group registration. Groups must be classified as a Registered Student Organization or Campus Life Program; each has different accounting requirements and tax exempt status.
